Nike Soho NYC Releases Limited Edition Air Max 1 “Cork”

Nike Soho is quickly making a name for itself as a destination for exclusive sneakers in New York City. The store is one of only two places in the world where the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 is available, and has been the source of a couple exclusives in the short time that it's been open. The most recent pair to arrive there and only there is this cork Nike Air Max 1.

NIKE AIR MAX 90 “DARK ELECTRIC BLUE”

The always-in-style Nike Air Max 90 receives yet another excellent new color-up, proving that the timeless silhouette will apparently never run out of fresh looks thanks to Nike Sportswear. This time it’s a high-voltage shade of blue hitting the Air Max 90, with this “Dark Electric Blue” version constructed in suede and mesh. Adding to the shoe’s color palette are a smooth blend of Anthracite and Bright Crimson paired with a Light Bone Swoosh and contrasting solid white midsole. When all put together, it adds up to an impeccable color block in a clean blend of colors for one of the AM90’s better looks all year. NIKE AIR MAX 93 “COOL GREY” – AVAILABLE

You can officially declare the return of the Nike Air Max 93 in 2014 a success. After sitting docile in the Nike archives for a few years, it was back in a big way, dropping most notably in two original colorways for a strong resurgence — to the delight of many retro runner fanatics. But when you throw great new colorways into the mix like this pair in “Cool Grey”, there’s no denying the Air Max 93 was one of the best retro sneakers of the year. With most of the OG’s in white looks, this modern version goes for a decidedly darker color scheme, presented in a black mesh and synthetic upper with a subtly textured Anthracite mudguard and its Huarache-esque collar in Cool Grey. One look should be enough to make you want to add them to your Air Max collection, and now you can, as they are arriving now at select shops in the US.

Nike Air Max 95 – Black – Blue Crystal

When a new colorway of an Air Max 95 rolls around, it always garners a ton of attention. We all know what the shoe looks like, and it’s been around for over a quarter-century, but that’s just the nature of ‘the icon’ – it demands attention. Air Max 95s definitely fall in the category of ‘sneaker icon’, so even when a rather simple color combination surfaces, like this new Black/Crystal Blue, we find ourselves intrigued, as if we don’t know what to expect – like turning to the next page of a thrilling suspense novel. Liu Xiang x Nike - LX Collection

Nike gets together with one of the most popular figures in all of Chinese sports, hurdler Liu Xiang, on a special collaborative collection.

Liu Xiang won China's first Olympic men's track and field medal at the 2004 Athens games, winning the gold in the 110 meter hurdles. Liu clocked a 12.91, one of the fastest times in history, before going on to become the first man to run the event in under 12.90 seconds at the 2006 Super Grand Prix.

The LX Collection features special colorways of the Nike LunarGlide+ 3 and the Nike Free Run+ 2. The men's pairs feature Imperial Purple and gold, while the women's pairs feature a Max Orange color scheme.

The collection is available this season at select Nike accounts.

Nike LunarEclipse+ 2

The Nike LunarEclipse+ ‘eclipsed’ prices of all Nike Lunar Running shoes by a whopping $35 (the highest-priced Lunar running shoe was $100), and still stands as the highest-priced Nike Lunar running shoe (if you’re not counting the Shield edition of the model, which is $140). Nike Air Max 95 – Black / Anthracite – Orange

The latest retro running release from Nike Sportswear’s Air Max legacy looks like it could have dropped last month with a jack-o-lantern hangtag, which means it also bears a strong reemblance to another pair of Nike Air Max 95s that had already earned the ‘Halloween’ nickname. But a closer look at this new pair reveals that not only is the shade of orange on this pair more of a tangerine whereas the earlier joints were bold like a Team Orange, but also that the eyelet striping is slightly different as well. That means more sneakerheads will have a chance to get their hands on another orange-accented Air Max 95s when these release in mid-December; how do they rank agianst the ‘Halloween’ and ‘Mandarin Orange’ pairs from earlier this year?
